Energy healing is a wonderful tool if you feel overwhelmed or stuck in your healing process during a major loss or transition.

Glow Energy Healing is a modality that I developed by combining elements of psychology, Clear Light Healing, chakra healing, crystal healing and Medical Qigong. It is specifically designed to support people going through grief and major life transitions.

A huge loss or transition shocks our system, and affects us on spiritual, emotional, physical and energetic levels In
order to heal and not just move forward with the life we know, but actually create the life we want with the new knowledge and understanding we have gained, we usually need to work in a different way.

That painful, heavy feeling in the heart center that happens after a loss? That is energy. Energy imbalances can also cause digestive issues, exhaustion and headaches that don’t seem to have a medical cause.

There can also be repetitive, intrusive thoughts, a loss of faith, and a feeling that you are not the same person you were before the loss. You may also feel confusion around decision making and a general feeling of being disoriented and stuck.

Energy medicine can help address these types of pain and confusion in a unique and effective way

Energy healings take place in the comfort of your own home, over the phone or zoom. I will send you suggestions for how to prepare for your session. We will spend some time talking about your concerns, and then I will perform a remote healing, connecting with your energy body wherever you are.

I will check into your chakras, organ systems and meridians to see where energy is blocked, running too fast or depleted and then clear, balance and infuse energy.

I will check in with your spirit guides and any other beings around you for guidance.

Most people experience pleasant sensations, sink into a meditative state during sessions and feel lighter and clearer after the energy healing is complete. I also welcome questions and feedback during the session.

At the end of the session, we will discuss any things that came up such as guidance, mystical experiences and messages from your guides. I will provide recommendations for how to keep your healing going until we work together again. Your personal recommendations may include herbs, essential oils, crystals, meditation or breathwork practices and other things that came up in the.

In an in-person session, we will take time for you to share what your concerns are, and any developments since your previous session if it is a return visit. After this, I will perform a healing session. You will relax on a massage table with an amethyst crystal mat that emits healing infrared energy. I will check into your meridians, organ systems and energetic field to see what is out of balance and then work on clearing, balancing and infusing energy with my hands. I may also connect with your spirit guides and loved ones who have passed to see if they have any messages for you.

I will use a custom aromatherapy blend, with oils chosen to address any imbalances and enhance your energy. Finally, crystals will be placed at strategic locations on your body and around you to help integrate the healing and balance your energy.

After the healing session, we will discuss what came up during our time together, any images or sensations that felt significant for you, any guidance that came through for your benefit. I will then provide you with instructions on
how to continue your healing at home through movement, affirmations, crystal healing, herbs and acupressure selfmassage.

How energy healing works is still mysterious, but there are some scientific studies that are backing it up. My most succinct explanation would be that body is an energy system, and energy healing helps open and balance the system, creating harmony and activating the body’s ability to heal as well as an enhancement of our connection to all things.

Energy has no boundaries!

I first started doing remote healing on my children when they were away from me after my divorce. They would sometimes get headaches, stomachaches or anxiety and call me for help. Although I had received remote healing
myself, and had it explained to me, it never really made sense until my daughters needed help. I just focused on
their essence and was able to heal over the phone.

Since those first healings with my children, I have developed the ability to heal others remotely as well. I just focus on your energy and go into the same meditative state that I use in person to heal. Amazing things happen with remote healing!

There is no simple answer to this question. It depends on where you are in your grief process, what other types of
support you have and many other things.

I recommend starting with a package of 1 energy healing session and 3 coaching sessions and then evaluating
what would be best for your growth and healing after that.

Clear light healing is a specific form of energy healing, developed by Mielle Vietor. I studied with Mielle, receiving specific training on working with the energy body, and how to enhance and focus my own gifts as a healer. Clear Light is different from Reiki, but they are in the same family – all energy healing uses the positive life force, sometimes called qi, source, prana or divine light to heal and help us enhance our connection with the divine. Reiki is the most well known form of energy healing. but there are many different forms of healing, and they each have their own special history. Medical qi gong is a type of energy medicine based on the ancient Chinese medical system that also includes acupuncture, acupressure, Chinese herbal therapy and medical massage. All of these systems use energy channels that run through the body. It is similar to reiki in that it works with energy, but it is much more systemized. When we are in good health our energy runs smoothly through these pathways. Aging, stress, poor diet, lack of movement and trauma, as well as other things can create blockages in our energy system. Medical qi gong balances out the energy system in the body by regulating the chi (also known as prana or vital energy) in the body through removing blockages and infusing the body with energy. 

Grief and major life transitions make our energy feel stuck, medical qigong can help it flow freely.

Unfortunately, no. Some HSA plans will accept energy healing however. It is best to call them and check, and you can also ask your doctor for a prescription. I am happy to talk with your HSA or your doctor. While energy healing has existed for thousands of years, there is currently not widespread acceptance of its healing benefits. We need to do more studies and advocate for acceptance.

Healing movement combines aspects of yoga, qigong, dance and movement therapy and acupressure self-massage. I developed Healing Movement while leading support groups for grief. It is specifically designed to help shift difficult emotions and get our energy flowing. Healing movement sessions always end with breathwork and meditation.

Crystal Healing uses different stones and minerals to help balance out the energy system of the body. Each crystal has it’s own unique properties, and when they are placed on acupressure points or on specific chakras they can have a powerful healing effect.

The most frequent comment I hear after a session is "I feel so much lighter"!  Most people say that they feel lighter, clearer and more focused.  However, when work with energy, people often feel tired, so it is important to have time to rest and reflect afterwards.  In some cases, energy healing can initiate what is called an aggravation,  a healing crisis or detox.  This is when suppressed emotions or physical symptoms arise after a healing.  This is uncommon, but does happen, and here is a helpful article about it: https://www.reiki.org/articles/reiki-and-healing-crisis

Energy healing is generally a safe practice.  Many people feel tired and need to rest after a session.  Some people do experience a detox or healing crisis, but this is generally part of a longer healing process, and an opportunity to address suppressed emotions or symptoms.
